Is Japan a developed or developing country?
Japan, in my honest opinion, is very much a developed country. A developed country is defined as " a wealthier country with acess to technology and education, with generally high life expenctancy," I will explain how Japan falls under almost every single category od that definition.

Technology

quality of life

First of all, Japan is one of the most technogically advanced countries on the world , and its products are are one of the most revered around the world. These products include Toyota, SONY, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Canon, Casio etc. I am pretty dang sure you know those products and how marvelous they are. It doesnt just stop there. Japan is also the leading country for robotics development. They have created amzing robots from human resembling robots to exo skeleton robats that can increase your srength tenfold. These robotics is promising for economic growthas the world grows more advanced every day. The transporation of Japan is also very efficient and developed to near perfection in land, air and sea. But perhaps the most noted forms of transportation is the bullet train, high speed trains that are rarely even a few seconds late! These factor greatly influence the quality of life. With better technology, the Japanese enjoy a lavish and efficient lifestlye. The teenagers are constantly on their phones on their free time, and they even have toilets to wash and rinse your butt while warming your seat!
Health and Well-being

Second, Japan is yet again, one of the worlds healthiest countries in the world. They have a life expectancy of 85-89 yeras old! This is due to two reasons. The Japanese healthcare and its diet. Japan offeres uiversal healthcare. Universal healthcare means health care is provided to all citzens of that particular country. The Japanese also eat a very healthy and seafood enriched diet. They eat fish meat full of omega 3 fatty acids versus cholestrol full read meat. They also eat tons of vegetables and seaweed, which is jam-packed with minerals and vitamins, escpecially iodine. They scoff down rice and eat small portions. They are also huge tea fans, which has many health benefits. This also improves the quality of life in a number of ways. This diet and health care will increase life expentancy, making life longer and more enjoyable. The Japanese are also very content with the amount of food they are getting. The food is overall making the quality of life much more enjoyable.

Education
Japan offers a great education. They start learning at elementray school for 6 years, then middle school for 3 years, highschool for another 3 years, then university or college if they choose. overall, this education system is very stressful. There is way more exams and tests than the canadian education system. The pressure is HUGE, and most parents are very srtict. These students can be smart and knowedgeble, but by highschool and middle school when the exams hit, the students lose the creative thinking and independent thought and opinion. This affects the quality of life. When they get jobs, this lack of creative thought and the stress of deadlines keep most peole working for 7-8 hours. This means most workers dont even have enough time to spend with their family! This can overall decrease the quality of life. If your're just working and working and studying all day and doing nothing else, you will eventually break down, or just not enjoy life at all.

In Japan it is quite a normal sight to see exhausted workers sleeping on the bus. Bosses even allow workers to sleep on the job, as that shows dedication. So much dedication, that you fall asleep!
Wealth
Finally, Japan has a very high GDP ( gross domestic product). The GDP is the total profit or income the country has madethrough productive actions. This comes form the fact that Japan is terrific at manufacturing. Japan imports massive amounts of resources and makes them into great poducts to export back. As I said already one of Japan's strength lies in the robotics, electronics, and technolgy field.
As you can see, Japan is a developed country due to those reasons. But, as always, no country is perfect. Japan birth rates have been hitting an all time low. This is due to the fact that Japan is very old, with over 50000 people being over the age of 100, and because of their jobs. The marriage rate is also decreasing, as women are to busy to work to support babies, and men are just to tired to even consider to marry. Women also struggle to find men who can give the womn and the child attention and care. Japan is also strugging with unhappiness. Due to the healthy seafood and the stigma of fat people, Japan has one of the world's highest anorexia rates among teenagers. Suicide rates are also skyrocketing with the amount of pressure and work being put into kids and adults. But, aside from those reasons, Japan is a developed country with a resonably plesant quality of life
