Japan is an island located in  between the Sea of Japan , the East China Sea, and the Pacific Ocean. It is located of the eastern coast of Asia.   It is an isalnd so it recognizes no land boundries. Some bordoring countries are China to the west , Russia to the North,  Taiwan  to the South, and North Korea   and South Korea as its closest neighbour to the West. The specific coordinates of Japan is 35.6833 degrees North, 139.7667 degrees South. Japan is  litersaly sitting  on top of the Ring of Fire.
